According to the design/size and the effect clients expect, customized logo can be embroidered, woven, silkscreen printed, dye sublimated printed, or even combined with 2 different methods for special effect.
For fabric/ leather/soft PVC patches, they all could be applied with iron-on, Velcro, self-adhesive tape on back. More back types are available for fabric patches, such as paper coating, plastic backing, ect.
Woven patches are lighter and thinner than embroidery ones, they are flat to touch and have no raised thread (except for merrowed or heat cut satin borders). On the other hand, woven patch is ideal for more fine details with much tighter weaving process than embroidery, and gradient color effect is also workable on woven patch.
